So Long 2010, Howdy 2011!

Well a lot has happenend in the past few months since I've updated the blog. Lots of holidays, time spent with friends and family and lots of good times! While 2010 was a fabulous year and I have no complaints, I am glad to welcome 2011. I just know this is going to be my year! I am hoping to keep busy and make good life choices this year. I am starting the year with my 2nd MC, so I'm pretty excited about that. Out with the old and in with the new! :)

I'm going to try to blog more often this year. I just don't always have anything interesting to share. I'm hoping wedding planning will help with that! We have made our decisions on where and when, now it's just the details which most girls probably find to be the funnest part but I just find them to be frustrating. I am the worst at making a decision and sticking to it. I like EVERYTHING that I see and I constantly second guess myself.

My next decision to make is about wedding colors. I'm thinking navy, pink and silver with a touch of green. We have our appointment with the Cedarwood team soon and they need to know the colors of the bridesmaids dresses so that's my goal for January. I need to find bridesmaids dresses, pick a color, and I also need to find my own dress! I found this when I was looking for inspiration.

What do you think of the colors? JD wants the guys to wear navy as well. I was even thinking maybe navy blazers and khaki pants? I think navy will be the best dress color for the girls. I know I do not want pink. Navy is close to black and looks good on everyone. Should the guys do black or navy? Is that too dark for July? See how I have some difficulty making decisions!?

I like the idea of navy dresses with an explosion of color in the bouquet for the girls. Something like this. Except I must have hydrangeas. Must.

And I'm not sure what's a goin' on with the picture on the right below, but the picture on the left is very similar to what the reception site at Cedarwood looks like. Very open and white and airy. I love the multicolor hanging lanterns.

So, tell me what ya think! And if you come across any navy, pink, silver and green wedding influence send it my way!

I'm off to finish my first day of Master Cleanse numbero dos. I'm shooting for 14 days this time. Still have about 30 ounces of lemonade to get down. Yum!
