Back To School, Back To School....

Turn on those VCR's and pop in those Billy Madison VHS tapes, because it's back to school, back to school, to prove to Dad that I'm not a fool...



La escuela starts tomorrow for yours truly. WEAK!! It's especially lame because I've been there for about 40 hours total since Wednesday of this week. I finally went through every cabinet in the classroom. I had about 8 bags of junk that I wanted to get rid of. When I got the job last fall, the teacher who had the room before me left a lot of materials and I just never had the time to sort through them. Until now. I spent a whole day just sorting through materials I will use and things I just needed to toss. I am soooooo glad I did! I feel like being this organized will save me a lot of stress and confusion next year.

I'm almost done with the final touches in the room, like bulletin boards and what not and when I'm finished I hope to do a post about the improvements I made to the room this year. I didn't spend as much time this summer as I'd planned on making lessons and researching for the classroom, but I'm only human! I have to have my breaks! Because, believe me, a teacher's day is NOT over at 3:00. And if you ever say that to my face I'll probably be a little defensive and unkind because I just don't feel like you have the right to judge unless you've been in that situation. Sure, I could end my day at 3:00. But your kids won't learn jack because I won't have any lessons planned for them for the next day. Anyway.... I'll get off my soapbox. I just take a lot of pride in what I do is all. :)

Anyone watch The Bachelorette tonight? Who else was shocked that Ali chose Roberto?! According to Reality Steve, she was choosing no one. And now his site won't load because evidently he's being attacked by haters.



And what about True Blood last night. SOOOO glad Sookie killed off Lorena. I'm still curious about Eric's big plan and if Franklin is really dead.



GTL! And Jersey Shore started last week. Loves it. All except for Angelina. Bleh...



ANNNNND Teen Mom!!! Why can't these amazing shows come on in the summer? Instead I spend all day watching Biography, ID, Wife Swap, Say Yes to the Dress, and I Survived.



Well, gotta call it a night and get some shut eye. I have a feeling I'm gonna be exhausted come this weekend and need a few naps. I'm not used to getting up before 9!
