Love The Little Things In Life

I had an absolutely WONDERFUL Valentine's Day and I hope you all did as well. JD really redeemed himself this year. He really did way too much. I was blown away. I am just relieved that he didn't buy a big screen t.v. or a new ipod. Both of which I specifically said I did not want. But I am beyond pleased!

The one thing I asked for was a massage. I know JD gets tired of me constantly asking for him to rub on me, but he kept saying how he thought it was a waste of money. I was literally in tears begging to be rubbed on. Ha! So I was very pleased when I got this little card.

At Christmastime, we had a secret pal gift exchange at work and my secret pal did a wonderful job of getting my gifts. She got me this super fun and cute wine glass - it looked a lot like this except with a J on it and it was red and green.

I loved it so much I was drinking all of my liquids out of it. Being the klutz that I am, I dropped my cell phone on it and broke it. WHAT?! How does that even happen? I almost cried. I heard my heart breaking at the same time I heard the glass shatter.

So JD bought be this one as a replacement. It's so fun! I love me some zebra print!

And the whopper of a gift was this netbook! I was totally shocked by this. It's so cute and little and perfect and I'm testing it out right now for this blog update.

I took this picture of Julius surfing the web. He was really into Perez! Notice the huge yawn - perfect timing!

I placed it beside the card my dad sent me (notice the cat on the front) to show the size - it's really so portable and small!

We got this cute candy dish and a bag of dark chocolate Kisses from JD's mom.

And here is the collection of teddy bears, chocolates and love tokens that I got from the kiddos.

We had a really fun but busy party at school. We decorated cookies, made a stained glass heart craft, played some Valentine bingo, graphed conversation hearts, and handed out our Valentine's.

I hope that you had a very special day and spent it with the ones you love! I promise I'll try to do better this week about my blogging.

I need some topics - with all these snow days I don't get out much and don't have many interesting things to blog about.

So, send those topics of interest and let me know about your V-Day!

  1. He is such a goood boy (I hope you get that I am laughing when I write this). Just so you know, I got the EXACT same dish from my mom for Valetine's Day. But I do like it.

Sorry, no good blog titles for you....but you could write your dream vacas like I did!
