Alright, I'll admit it. He got us. He really makes us look like a bunch of fools. Lane Kiffin is probably my biggest enemy right now. I've been reading a bunch of articles about this whole situation. None of them make me feel any better. Did I think this beach boy brat was going to send us to the national championship? No. But I did think he would at least stick around long enough to see what he could make work. The guy even named his kid Knox! Good luck to that kid growing up in L.A. Can't believe Lil' Wayne actually gave your lame name a shout out in a song.

I can only think of two good things that Lane Kiffin did for UT football this season.

I give you - Eric.Berry.



And it's not even that Lane Kiffin had anything to do with this kid. This guy is just talented. Lane Kiffin just knew how to run his mouth and get UT in the news so #14 here could get a little more recognition. The.5th.Dimension. And if you haven't seen the Eric Berry music video on YouTube, I highly suggest you do. What a gem! He is my 3rd favorite UT alum.

You absolutely cannot hate Peyton Manning. Maybe we can get a filler coach for a few years until Peyton retires and decides to come coach. Any player who sticks around for an extra year and leads the band in Rocky Top is Grade A in my book. Love this shot of him and Phil.

PEERLESS PRICE. Oh, yes. I even have a custom made orange #37 jersey. Granted, I don't even think he plays anywhere now, but this wide receiver definitely had the attention of all of Tennessee and America when he took the Vols to 13-0 and a National Championship in 1998. Glory days.

Back to the highlights of the year. There was this little treat. Totally appropriate for Halloween!



LOVE IT! Black jerseys at UT? Never heard of it until this year!

I'm a huge Tennessee fan. I wear orange EVERY Saturday in the fall. I have a whole section of my closet dedicated to game day attire. My license plate is UT. I only own orange animals! I BLEED ORANGE. But, today, I am just.....uggghhhh. Words fail me. I don't know what the future holds for us. I'm hoping a SOUTHERN coach with some pride! I want Neyland Stadium and Rocky Top to mean as much to the new coach as it means to me! I want a coach who will wear orange and love it. I'm gonna stand by my team. As much as JD probably wishes I'd convert to being a Georgia fan, it just ain't gonna happen! But I'm going to hope for the best. At least we still have these two:

I mean, even Kenny Chesney had more loyalty to Tennessee. Come on, Kenny! Half your songs you mention your home state. Did you forget the lyrics to "Back Where I Come From" or "Touchdown Tennessee"? Lay off the Tebow train. Your BFF used to be Peyton.
