So, instead I figured I'd divulge all the juicy deets on how JD and I met. It's not necessarily a "fairy tale" encounter. It's not really even a story I like to tell strange people or even close family members when they ask how we met(to which I always just reply, "at Tech", or "in college", which really isn't a lie). But, anyway, just in case you were wonderin' - here is the story. With all the greatest photographic evidence I could find.
Spring Break(GREAT intro so far, right?) 2008 - My senior year, graduating in May and just ready for an all out fun trip. I've got three of my best gals lined up for a cruise to Mexico with me. Whoooop-Whoooop! We are on the boat cruisin', enjoying the sun, the sea, the pina colada's and getting ready for our group dinner. One of the girls in my room was dating a fella who brought along 3 friends. That's cool. The more the merrier. Well, this is what JD looked like upon first inspection.

Yeah, he missed dinner. But when he finally showed up we were all excited he made it! For the 10 minutes he actually stayed.
My next memory is a little fuzzy, just like the picture, but I remember it involved a lot of tequila (ugh!) shots and a giant banana boat ride in the ocean.

Then, the next night went a little something like this:

I have no idea what the song was, why the faces are like that, or what we are even doing. All I know is that it's vacation and we are so glad. Until JD got his bill only 3 days into the trip which looked like this:

Yes, it was about 4 pages long. Half-way into the vacation. I don't think my entire bill even reached 4 pages. So, what other way to celebrate? Jager bombs (in our most Jersey Shore tone)!!!

Which made me "pull a JD" and show up late for dinner the next night. Here's a picture of the slackers:

At dinner, more Jager Bombs made JD and I dance with the servers:

Which then made JD a little sleepy:

But, the party must go on! Even when the weather was bad we all found ways to enjoy ourselves. This is us on the way back to the good ole U.S of A.

And now: I HAVE to get some new pictures on here. The last ones uploaded were seriously in 2008. YIKES! But, that's the story of our love. Like I said, not one to go tellin' the grandparents, but it's us and I wouldn't change it for anything evah! So, that's that. Lotta cocktails in that blog. I promise my next few will be more kid and cat friendly!
That is if I can find that cord......
What a great story! Reminds me of Stu and I's (not to be told to many people). Love the pic of Sleepy JD. Priceless and def. should be saved for blackmail....
