Day 4 on the MC! And I just keep rollin' rollin' rollin' rollin. Y'all remember that old school Limp Bizkit song? That's what I was just thinking of. Whatever happened to those guys? Anyhooo....
Today started off TERRIBLE! I woke up just fine and did my SWF and after an hour of it doing it's dirty work I was on the couch passed out until after noon! It's a good thing I'm off for the summer and didn't have any plans. After that I had some lemonades and I was very energized. I did a lot of house cleaning that I've been putting off just cuz' I didn't feel like it and I even emptied out the pantry. I really haven't even opened it unless I was putting JD's stuff away. Well, I just decided it was time to clear the junk. I think I threw away 4 boxes of sugary cereal. Lots of chips and other junk like Teddy Grahams and chocolates. I am glad it's all gone. I find myself flipping through magazines and really craving the healthier options shown over the processed meals. Yay! Let's hope I'll have that same outlook when it's time to make choices!
I was still so energized this afternoon that Keisha and I went for a nice 40 minute walk. My i-pod said we went 2.8 miles, her phone said 2.5, but I think it was a great way for us to be active and get our vitamin D for the day. I usually work out alone on the treadmill or elliptical, but this was such a nice change that we're planning on walking the Greenway tomorrow!
When JD got home this afternoon I went with him to our apartment clubhouse and lifted some weights. I lifted on Day 2 and I could definitely feel it in my muscles more than usual. I felt the same way again today! Let's hope that only means that I'm getting stronger and more fit.
I left today while JD had dinner and went to get a spray tan. Not necessarily because I'm hungry (which I'm not at all) but because he was making grilled chicken and broccoli with rice which is one of my favorite meals and I think I would have been grumpy if I watched him devour it instead of really enjoying each flavor and actually chewing! Ha.
Well, I'm curious if anyone thinks that it's cheating if I add a dollop of syrup to my evening tea. It makes it much more tolerable than bitter and I'm allowed syrup during the day so to me it wouldn't seem like cheating. But I want to follow this strictly so I can get the maximum benefit.
Until tomorrow! Happy squeezing to us all! :)

Not cheating if that is part of your diet!
ReplyDeleteJust curious (in case I forget to ask you in person)...what does the book say about pills/medicine? I take 2 pills a day. One to ensure that Abby does not have an unplanned younger brother or sister. And the other to make sure I don't fly off the handle and kill my husband with a butter knife (anxiety, lol). Do you have to stop those as well??
