MC - Day 6

Hey all! I know this post is coming a day late, but have no fear! I did not quit the MC! My willpower is still as strong as ever. We just went to a friend's house last night and when I got in I was tired after my evening tea and just went to bed.

Day 6 was a breeze. Keisha and I went yard sale hunting and I hit the mother load! I got so much cute stuff for the classroom. I only spend $33 yesterday, and you should see the amount of stuff that got me! When it's all unloaded out of my car and cleaned up I'll post pictures.

We ended our yard sale spree because there was no room left in my car even if we did want to purchase anything else. We went to the square to go to the farmer's market. Man! Did all those fresh fruits and veggies smell delish! I was hoping to find some home grown lemons but no luck.

We did walk by a lady who was giving away free kittens and y'all know me - I had to stop and hold them both. After we pet the little critters we started walking away and Keisha said, "We need to go back". I just thought she wanted some fruit or something so I said, "Okay, did you see something you wanted to get?". Her response was, "Yeah, that kitten." I PROMISE I had no influence on her getting it. I am so glad that they got it and it's going to have a great home now. It's just funny because they aren't cat people at all. Just like JD wasn't when I first met him, but Scarlet and Julius can change your views on felines, that's for sure!

So I guess Preston told JD that they had gotten it and before I even made it back to the car he had already sent me 3 text messages about it. They were:

1. "Did they get a cat?" - 11:14 am
2. "Send me a pic." - 11:14 am
3. "Quit leaving me hanging." - 11:19 am

That silly cat dad! It was hard to tell him we only took the one cause I know if he was with us we would have ended up with the other one! Three cats is a crowd. Two is plenty for now!

I'll be back later tonight to summarize Day 7. Off to finish my SWF now!
